Intrinsic Quality, LLC. recently developed a four-position flash fixture programming station for a global OEM. This test station is PC driven and incorporates the SMH FlashRunner 2.0 for ultrafast programming of flash devices. Ease of use was of primary concern for swift and accurate operator transitions for each DUT. Each of the 4 nests provides both complete programming and functional test. The programming included security keys, and password protection.
All of IQ’s programmer stations are designed for interchangeable fixtures and include IQ’s expert device programming services. All programming parameters are included as firmware revision, power, and signal levels are automatically verified and set up. Normal changeover operations are automated as the system reads both fixture and DUT identifications. Any additional operator actions can be managed with the touchscreen. The PC keyboard and monitor are readily accessible for maintenance by the test engineer. The programming and test results are automatically logged. The Quad Station is built on a sturdy wheeled cart for effortless transport to another manufacturing floor location.
The Quad System has four independent programming/test channels. Each has changeable fixtures.
The four channels each use a standard Ingun MA2111 Drive Unit which holds a standard ATS bed of nail fixture. All fixturing equipment is off the shelf and easily maintained.
The individual ATS bed of nails fixtures are easily removed and replaced. The system automatically recognizes the fixture configuration.
Below the bed of nails there is adequate room for an orderly mounting of the SMH FlashRunner 2.0 Microcontroller for programming of the flash fixtures.
Below the upper deck is more room for additional test equipment. In this case we have mounted power supplies and CAN communications.
